Though the western shovel nosed snake only reaches 15-17" in the wild, this rubber version come in lengths of 48". All of our rubber snakes are very stretch & extremely lifelike. As you might expect it gets its name from its flattened, shovel-like head. These are only found in low deserts of western Arizona and live primarily underground, making it possibly the rarest specie we carry. As with all of our snakes this makes a great educational tool.
