Information we collect

First things first, we do not store credit card information on our servers.  We only collect sufficient personal information about you to fill your order(s). This includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, and email address. Once your order has been shipped, we will not use your information to send any future solicitations unless you have subscribed to our monthly discount newsletter (see below).  

Like many websites, Zymetrical.com logs & analyzes information which is submitted through our servers. By doing this, we are able to improve the overall shopping experience, and gain a better understanding of what customers want, by tracking not only how a person found our site, but also what pages were viewed once there, among other things. The information is collected as a whole and is not user specific. In other words, we don't associate each individual to specific searches, click paths, pageviews etc.

 

Secure transactions

When it comes to securing your sensitive credit card information we take PCI complianceserious.  All orders through our servers utilize industry standard 128 or 256 bit SSL technology, depending on your browser. Secure Socket Layers encrypt your information while it is being submitted from your computer to our server.  When in secure mode, your address bar will change from http://... to https://.. Furthermore, when you use a credit card, our server implements AVS technology, (Address Verification Service), verifying that the address entered matches the address on file with your credit card company. Zymetrical.com also requires the CVC2 or CVV2 number for all credit card orders, giving added security when an individual is not available for a signature. Along with other measures, these help to minimize credit card fraud.

 

Zymetrical.com email newsletter

Approximately 4 - 6 times per year we send out our discount novelty newsletter with new products, promotions, and of course discounts. You will not receive this unless you explicitly opt-in and your information will not be used for any other purpose.  Each newsletter has a 1-click unsubscribe link.

Zymetrical.com stores small files on your computer called "cookies". These allow our server to keep track of the items in your shopping cart.  These do not contain personally identifiable information about you and can not be read by any other server.
